In Sok Kwu Wan, fisherfolk culture can be approached through people, practices, tools, water and memory. Life Jungle treats this knowledge with respect, rather than turning it into a performance.

Hong Kong Tourism Board describes Lamma Fisherfolk's Village in Sok Kwu Wan as a museum dedicated to the heritage of Hong Kong's fishermen, with traditional boats, tools and homes. The Development Bureau's pier information also points to nearby fish rafts, dragon boats and dwellings.
香港旅遊發展局把索罟灣的南丫島漁民文化村描述為展示香港漁民遺產的博物館，當中包括傳統船隻、工具與居所。發展局的碼頭資料亦提及附近的魚排、龍舟及居所。
The Intangible Cultural Heritage Office records the Sok Kwu Wan Jiao Festival in its Hong Kong inventory. It is a community practice that reflects another dimension of local memory and ritual life.
